Crate of Tactile Paintings

They're made from the local sands, mixed with a sort of shellac made from beetleshell to set and preserve them. The various colored sands, and the slightly metallic preservative, work together to create a work that is as much sculpture as painting. Collectors swear by them and love having paintings they can reach out and touch.
