What some have already guessed has now been confirmed: Alpha 2 Phase 3 has been delayed until August 4th.

Phase 3 key holders will still get access to the game on May 1st as originally promised. Additionally, there will be at least one fresh start server. This new server will either be based in NA East, or there will be two servers – one for NA and one for EU (source). This will be announced later, presumably once Intrepid has more data on the expected player base.

This means 24/7 testing will not start before August either, although the extended Phase 2 may have some periods of week-long testing. During this time, the team will work on Dynamic Gridding, questing revamp, server improvements, Unreal Engine 5.5 upgrade, economy and stat overhaul, three new races (Py’rai, Ren’Kai and Niküan) and a new starter zone: The Anvils.

Additionally, Lyneth and Vyra are scheduled to merge on May 1st, with node, freehold and caravan/vehicle data being reset. We also have confirmation that there is going to be a wipe at the start of phase 3 in August.

That’s a lot to digest – you can read the entire announcement on the official website.
